Ornamental Landscape

Caring for Your Ornamentals

Besides your house, your ornamental trees and shrubs on your property are the most noticeable permanent elements of your property. Often overlooked until they die or become damaged, your ornamentals comprise a large portion of your landscape and should have regular care including fertilization, and preventive insect controls applied periodically.

What's an Ornamental?

Ornamental trees are generally considered trees that aren't large shade producing trees. This also includes shrubbery normally found around residential and commercial landscapes.

Insect Controls

Many insects will lay their eggs in the bark or just below the bark of woody plants. When the eggs hatch, they remain in the soft woody tissue, sometimes causing extensive damage, even death to the plant if left unchecked. We offer several programs depending on your specific needs.

Ornamental Fertilization

The problem with ornamentals is that they don't easily give up clues they need fertilization until it's often too late to correct-- the damage is already done. Our trained ornamental tree and shrub specialists can identify these early symptoms with a close examination of the plant.
